It is a device that allows you to have a home phone number that connects through your internet yet works in your house like a regular home phone. Tina at BabyCostcutters was given a netTALK DUO WiFi to review for this giveaway. This is that she had to say:

"I really had no idea what a VoIP phone was until I received mine :) It is a Voice Over Internet Protocol or I like to say Voice Over Internet Phone. First, I wanted to let all of you know before I ported my home phone over to this new system I had to get a Cell Phone Back-up on my security system. This is because when the power goes out or you lose internet connection you will also lose the home phone service. This device is saving me money! I really do not use the home phone much anymore, most people don't....we all have cell phones now. My home phone service was costing me $29.95 + $4.88 in taxes and fee = total $34.83 a month. I received mine free but, if you were to purchase one at Target they are $64.95 and comes with a year of service. I did have to pay the $19.95 to port my number. I was paying $416.96 for a home phone per year! Even with porting a number you will only pay $84.90 and get a full year of service with that! Then, the second year and after that is only $39.95!! I followed the directions on the website to set up my service and I was good to go! Once you are set up you can plug it into any wall outlet in your home and it connects through your WiFi so, if does not have to be by a phone jack. If you wanted to activate all your phone jacks through out your home {I was told this little tip by the PR Rep} you can use a phone jack splitter in the netTalk Duo and run connect it to any phone jack in your house and it will activate all the lines! I have a wireless base that has several handsets attached so that works great also."
